UK Xbox Age Verification Disrupts Games and Chat Amid Online Safety Act Rollout - Mandatory age-verification enforcement on UK Xbox accounts has been kicking players out of games, blocking voice chat and apps like Discord, and preventing privacy changes as phone, ID and live‑video checks fail or stall; Microsoft says it’s aware and working on a fix with no timeline, and similar compliance moves are expected across the industry under the Online Safety Act.

Valve Delays Pricing and Dates for Steam Hardware Amid Supply Issues - Valve still plans Steam Controller, Steam Machine and Steam Frame for H1 but won’t announce firm prices or dates yet due to memory/storage shortages and rising component costs; updates will come closer to launch. Valve will keep supporting existing hardware like the Index. Steam Frame is modular with a built‑in theatrical browser, limited dev kits, system‑level foveated streaming that works for all games (and can complement foveated rendering), potential prescription lens inserts, and no current Lighthouse support. Total War WARHAMMER III Patch 7.1 Fixes Campaign Crashes, Faction Bugs, and Balance - Patch 7.1 for Total War: WARHAMMER III prioritizes campaign stability and exploits fixes—resolving multiple crashes, save/load movement abuse, UI/tech/region-effect bugs, and a wide array of faction-specific issues (notably Beastmen, High Elves, Norsca, Slaanesh, and others). Multiplayer and custom-battle changes mainly rebalance Slaanesh (costs, stats, ability tweaks) with select roster/cost adjustments elsewhere, while extensive battle, AI, targeting, mount, animation, UI and tooltip polish improves reliability and presentation across the game.
