DMCA Copyright Complaint Policy

Uncrowned Empire, LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our websites, communities, and services to do the same.

This policy applies to Uncrowned Empire, which is owned and operated by Uncrowned Empire, LLC as part of the Uncrowned Empire network.

In appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, Uncrowned Empire, LLC may remove or disable access to content that is alleged to infringe copyright. We may also suspend or terminate accounts of users who violate our Terms or repeatedly infringe the rights of others.

This page is intended for copyright complaints under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, commonly known as the DMCA. Other legal, trademark, privacy, abuse, impersonation, or support-related concerns should be submitted through our regular support channels.

Filing a DMCA Copyright Complaint

If you believe that material available on Uncrowned Empire infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice to our designated DMCA contact for this site.

To be effective, your notice should include the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are involved, you may provide a representative list of those works.

  3. Identification of the material that you claim is infringing or the subject of infringing activity, along with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate the material. Please include the exact URL or specific location of the material whenever possible.

  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, the copyright owner’s agent, or the law.

  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Please note that knowingly submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Response to DMCA Notices

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, Uncrowned Empire, LLC may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.

When appropriate, we may notify the user who posted the material and provide information about the notice. Users who believe their material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may submit a counter-notice as described below.

DMCA Counter-Notices

If material you posted on Uncrowned Empire was removed or disabled in response to a DMCA notice, and you believe the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice to our designated DMCA contact for this site.

To be effective, your counter-notice should include the following information:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.

  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, along with the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled. Please include the exact URL or specific location whenever possible.

  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.

  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located. If your address is outside the United States, you must consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for any judicial district in which Uncrowned Empire, LLC may be found.

  6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or from that person’s agent.

Please note that knowingly submitting a false or misleading counter-notice may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

After receiving a valid counter-notice, Uncrowned Empire, LLC may forward the counter-notice to the party who submitted the original DMCA complaint. Unless the original complaining party notifies us that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity, we may restore the removed material in accordance with the DMCA.

Repeat Infringers

Uncrowned Empire, LLC may suspend or terminate user accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright or repeatedly violate our Terms.

We may also remove or disable access to content when required by law, when necessary to protect the rights of others, or when we determine that content violates our community rules or site policies.

Important Notice

Submitting a DMCA notice or counter-notice is a legal process. You should not submit a DMCA notice or counter-notice unless you understand the statements you are making.

This policy does not limit any rights, remedies, or defenses available under applicable law. Uncrowned Empire, LLC reserves the right to update this policy as needed.
