About Uncrowned Empire

Our Mission

Uncrowned Empire exists to build independent online communities, practical resources, and content platforms that help people learn, discuss, create, and grow.

Our network is built around a simple idea: the internet should be more useful, more transparent, and more community-driven. We believe users should have access to helpful information, open discussion, practical tools, and honest communication without unnecessary barriers, paywalls, gimmicks, or pay-to-rank systems.

Across our sites, we focus on gaming, technology, digital independence, military history, security, preparedness, and community knowledge. Each site has its own purpose, but they all share the same foundation: real participation, useful content, and respect for the people who make communities worth building.

About Us

Founded in 2014, Uncrowned Empire, LLC began as a grassroots effort to help local nonprofits and community organizations build and maintain their digital presence.

Many of our original team members were volunteer first responders, community advocates, and people directly involved in local service. We saw how often smaller organizations struggled to keep up online. They had missions worth supporting, but not always the tools, knowledge, or resources needed to reach people in a digital world.

We stepped in by helping with web design, technical support, digital campaigns, and general online guidance. What started as support for local nonprofits eventually revealed a larger need: people everywhere were looking for better ways to understand technology, build communities, share knowledge, and take control of their online lives.

In 2019, Uncrowned Empire began shifting from volunteer support work toward a more sustainable network model. The goal was not to abandon our original values, but to build something that could last. By 2020, we had launched the foundation for the Uncrowned network: a group of sites focused on practical knowledge, community participation, and independent online spaces.

Today, Uncrowned Empire serves as the central hub for that network.

Our Network

Uncrowned Empire

Uncrowned Empire is the central hub for our company, network updates, support systems, transparency efforts, policies, partnerships, and long-term planning.

This site is where we publish major announcements, explain how the network operates, share our roadmap, provide support, and outline the standards that guide our communities. While most daily content and discussion happen across our sister sites, Uncrowned Empire is where the larger vision comes together.

Uncrowned Addiction

Uncrowned Addiction is our technology-focused community built around digital independence, online safety, self-hosting, right to repair, and practical tech education.

The site is designed for people who want to better understand the digital world around them. From server guides and scam prevention to ownership-focused tech discussions and useful online tools, Uncrowned Addiction encourages users to take more control over their technology instead of simply accepting whatever major platforms provide.

Uncrowned Gaming

Uncrowned Gaming is our gaming community and content site for players who enjoy strategy, guides, discussion, and games that reward planning and player agency.

Rather than chasing every trend, Uncrowned Gaming focuses on useful gaming content, community discussion, detailed guides, and games where decisions matter. Our coverage includes party-based RPGs, army warfare games, leadership-focused titles, strategy games, and other experiences where players shape their own path.

Uncrowned Armory

Uncrowned Armory is our platform for military history, defense news, preparedness, security, and practical safety education.

The goal of Uncrowned Armory is to inform without sensationalizing. We cover historic conflicts, modern defense developments, security topics, home preparedness, and tactical analysis with a grounded approach. The site is built for readers who take safety, history, and strategy seriously, but do not want fear-based content or empty hype.

The Uncrowned Legion

We do not just have users. We have the Uncrowned Legion.

The Uncrowned Legion is the community of members, contributors, staff, collaborators, and supporters who help shape the future of our network. Every guide, forum post, comment, suggestion, correction, and shared idea helps build something stronger.

No ranks for sale.

No empty engagement.

No community built only for algorithms.

Uncrowned Empire is shaped by participation, not promotion. Whether someone is writing a guide, helping another member, joining a discussion, submitting feedback, leading a club, or supporting a project, their contribution matters.

The Legion is not about status. It is about showing up, taking part, and helping build better online spaces.

What We Believe

We believe independent communities still matter.

We believe useful content should be accessible.

We believe users deserve transparency about how websites operate, how content is created, how monetization works, and how communities are managed.

We believe AI, advertising, analytics, partnerships, and sponsorships should be handled openly and responsibly.

We believe online spaces should reward real contribution instead of manipulation, outrage, or empty engagement.

Most of all, we believe the web is better when people have places to learn, share, debate, build, and belong without being treated like products.
