Our Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on Uncrowned Empire sites may be affiliate links. This means Uncrowned Empire, LLC may earn a commission if you click a qualifying link and complete a qualifying purchase or action.
Affiliate links do not change the price you pay. They may simply allow us to receive a commission from the retailer, platform, service, or affiliate network involved.
Affiliate links help support the continued operation of Uncrowned Empire sites while allowing us to keep our communities, articles, guides, tools, and resources accessible to readers and members.
Where Affiliate Links May Appear

Some affiliate links may be added manually, while others may be created automatically through affiliate-link conversion tools.
Sovrn Commerce
Uncrowned Empire may use Sovrn Commerce to automatically convert certain eligible outbound links into affiliate links.
For example, a normal link to a retailer, storefront, platform, product page, software service, or subscription page may be converted into an affiliate link when eligible. If a qualifying purchase or action occurs after using that link, Uncrowned Empire, LLC may earn a commission.
This automatic affiliate-link conversion is intended for guests and unregistered visitors.
Logged-in registered users are generally not served our standard affiliate-link conversion system where that member experience is configured. Creating an account is free where registration is available and may give regular community members a cleaner experience without our standard affiliate-link conversion system modifying eligible outbound links for them.
Legacy Geniuslink Links
Uncrowned Empire previously used Geniuslink for some affiliate link management.
We no longer actively use Geniuslink as a current monetization service. However, some links created before 2025 may still be hard-coded through Geniuslink. If those older links are used, Uncrowned Empire, LLC may still earn a commission from qualifying purchases or actions.
Geniuslink does not process purchases directly. Purchases are handled by the destination retailer, platform, or service.
User-Posted Affiliate Links
Community members may post their own affiliate links when those links are relevant and allowed under our Community Guidelines.
Our affiliate services are not intended to override or replace affiliate links that users already posted.
Users are responsible for following the terms and rules of any affiliate programs they participate in. Some affiliate programs may restrict where links can be posted, especially on websites, forums, or communities the user does not own.
Affiliate links posted by users do not mean Uncrowned Empire officially endorses the linked product, service, seller, claim, recommendation, or offer.
Community Blogs, Forum Posts, and User-Driven Content
Uncrowned Empire includes community-driven areas such as forums, comments, blogs, profiles, clubs, and user discussions. These areas are separate from official Uncrowned Empire news articles, guides, policies, pages, and editorial content.
Community members may use blogs or forum posts to share opinions, reviews, recommendations, deals, promotions, affiliate links, sponsored content, or other user-driven material, as long as the content follows our Community Guidelines and any applicable disclosure requirements.
Staff members may also use blogs or forum posts for personal commentary, reviews, recommendations, promotional content, affiliate-driven content, or sponsored content. When staff use these community-driven areas, the content should still be understood as blog or forum content, not official news coverage.
Affiliate-driven or sponsored content in blogs or forum posts does not mean Uncrowned Empire officially endorses the product, service, claim, offer, seller, or sponsor.
Users and staff are responsible for properly disclosing affiliate relationships, sponsored relationships, free products, review codes, paid promotions, referral bonuses, personal business interests, or other material connections when they are relevant to the post.
Failure to disclose promotional or affiliate relationships may result in edits, moderation action, removal, or other action under our Community Guidelines.
Official Uncrowned Empire news articles, guides, and editorial pages are not created as sponsored posts, affiliate articles, or sales funnels. Blogs and forum posts are more flexible community spaces, but they must still be honest, properly disclosed, and not misleading.
Editorial Independence
Affiliate links do not control our editorial coverage.
Uncrowned Empire does not allow official news articles, guides, or editorial pages to be created solely as affiliate articles, sales funnels, or product promotions. Editors are not allowed to create official editorial content for the purpose of driving affiliate revenue.
Affiliate relationships do not determine:
What topics we cover
What games we cover
What products are mentioned
What tools or services are discussed
What guides we publish
What updates we report on
What opinions appear in community blogs
Whether a story receives coverage
How a news article, guide, or editorial page is written
If a product, game, service, platform, tool, deal, or offer is mentioned in official editorial content, it should be because it is relevant to the article, guide, update, resource, or reader discussion — not because of affiliate revenue.
Deals, Free Offers, and Promotional Posts
Uncrowned Empire sites may discuss game deals, free game offers, tech discounts, software offers, product bundles, limited-time promotions, giveaways, subscriptions, and similar opportunities, especially through forums or blogs.
Prices, availability, eligibility, terms, stock, discounts, and promotions can change quickly. Readers should always check the destination store, platform, retailer, developer, publisher, or service before making a purchase, claiming an offer, or relying on a promotion.
Some links in deal-related posts may be affiliate links, depending on the source, platform, retailer, service, or link format.
Sponsored Content and Affiliate Content
Uncrowned Empire does not publish official news articles, guides, or editorial pages as undisclosed sponsored posts or affiliate-driven articles.
However, Uncrowned Empire’s community-driven areas, including blogs and forum posts, may include affiliate-driven, sponsored, promotional, review, recommendation, or opinion-based content from users or staff, provided the content follows our Community Guidelines and includes proper disclosures when required.
If Uncrowned Empire ever publishes sponsored content in an official editorial capacity outside of community blogs or forums, it will be clearly labeled.
Affiliate links may appear in normal content, but the presence of an affiliate link does not make an official article sponsored, paid, or controlled by an advertiser.
Third-Party Sites
When you click an affiliate link, ad, sponsor link, embedded link, or other outbound link, you may leave an Uncrowned Empire site and visit a third-party website.
That third party’s own privacy policy, terms, pricing, refund rules, shipping rules, account requirements, purchase terms, cookies, tracking systems, and data practices may apply.
Uncrowned Empire does not control third-party retailers, platforms, affiliate networks, storefronts, advertisers, sponsors, or services.
Registered Users and Guest Experience
Uncrowned Empire uses affiliate systems primarily to support public visitor traffic.
Guests and unregistered visitors may see affiliate-link conversion through services such as Sovrn Commerce.
Logged-in registered users are generally not served our standard automatic affiliate-link conversion system where that member experience is configured. Registered users may also receive a cleaner site experience under our broader Monetization Policy.

Do Affiliate Links Cost More?
No. Affiliate links do not change the price you pay.
If you make a qualifying purchase or complete a qualifying action through an affiliate link, Uncrowned Empire, LLC may receive a commission from the retailer, platform, service, or affiliate network.
Do You Sell User Data?
No.
Uncrowned Empire, LLC does not sell user data.
Affiliate links may involve third-party services once you click away from our site. Those third parties may have their own privacy policies, tracking systems, cookies, or account requirements.
Once you leave an Uncrowned Empire site, the destination site’s own terms and privacy policy may apply.
